Williams will field just one car for the rest of the weekend in connection with the Formula 1 race in Australia. It goes beyond Logan Sargeant.
American Logan Sargeant did not crash his Williams F1 racer during the first practice ahead of the Australian grand prix on Sunday.
Alex Albon did.
However, the Thai Briton's car was so smashed by a fashion with the wall in turn 6 of the track that it cannot be repaired for the race on Sunday.
And that pushes teammate Logan Sargeant completely out of the running. Williams F1 has just confirmed this in a press release.

Alex Albon, who fortunately was not harmed in connection with the accident, must therefore drive both qualifying and the race itself at Albert Park in Logan Sargeant's car.
– This is the most difficult moment in my career. And it's definitely not easy. That said, I'm here for the team.
– And I will continue to contribute with everything I can this weekend, says Logan Sargeant.
