Audi's country manager for Italy has died in a tragic accident. Fabrizio Longo, who turned 62, fell 200 meters on Thursday afternoon when he was on a walk in the Adamello mountains about 40 kilometers from Lake Garda.

Another climber who witnessed the accident rushed to alert rescuers. The emergency services quickly came to Fabrizio Longo's aid, yet his life could not be saved.
– Fabrizio Longo has led Audi in Italy with enormous success since 2013, confirming the brand's leading position in the premium segment for 11 consecutive years.

– His strong values and genuine concern for everyone created a workplace full of warmth and respect, says Audi in a comment to the newspaper.
After working at Lancia, Aprilia, Toyota, BMW and Hyundai, Longo joined Audi in 2013. Here he managed to work his way up to a position as country manager before his untimely death.
