Danish director gone to importer: No comment

Denmark's smallest car importer RSA, which is a subsidiary of Norwegian RSA, has parted ways with director Steffen Vilstrup. In Norway, there are no comments.

Steffen Vilstrup headed the Danish subsidiary of the Norwegian car importer RSA. Or he did.

According to Motor magazine's information, the director of Denmark's smallest car importer has quit with immediate effect.

The media writes that the importer's dealers in Denmark received the message in a letter at the end of last week. The new management 'so far' consists of, among other things by Office Operation Manager Dorte Vinther.

Dorte Vinther tells Motor magazine that she doesn't know anything. And in Norway, RSA's management does not have much desire to answer questions either.

– The company continues in Denmark as it has always done, but without the person you are asking about, says managing director Frank Dunvold succinctly.

RSA, which now has to manage without Steffen Vilstrup, imports the Chinese brands Maxus, JAC and KGM. The former has been in Denmark since 2020. But the brand has also already cost the life of at least one car dealership. Read more about it here .

Importer volatility in Denmark is nothing new, however. Most recently, two more Chinese brands have announced that they are bypassing Denmark. And the Ford Motor Company, after a very long presence here, has sold the entire business . Read more about it here.
