Was flashed at 174 km/h – the police cannot take the car

A motorist is allowed to keep the car, but must in return attend a new choir rehearsal after the fashion with a photo van on the Sydmotorvejen.

On Monday, a motorist leaned on much more than a conditional disqualification when he met a photo van at high speed on the Sydmotorvejen around Tappernoje.

On the stretch, the maximum permitted speed is set at 130 km/h, but the driver quickly passed the photo van at 174 km/h.

It's not a rollercoaster. But it's not far off either. In total, the driver escapes with a conditional disqualification, i.e. a new choral and theory test.

On top of that, however, the police add a greeting from the state treasury of DKK 5,900, because DKK 500 must also be paid to the Victim Fund.

So 'lucky' is far from all motorists there. At the beginning of March, it emerged that the district court in Næstved had confiscated a very special Audi.

It is possibly the first time ever that the state owns one. So temporarily. Because, as with all other cars taken from convicted crazy drivers, the car must be sold at auction.

Shortly afterwards, however, the Copenhagen Police announced that they had seized another copy of the fast Audi model. Read more about both cases right here .
