The whole city turns its back on Tesla – it will be a no thank you!

Tesla has again received a refusal to expand the brand's only European factory. The citizens on the outskirts of Berlin, where the factory is located, will not participate.

Tesla will not start expanding the brand's so-called 'giga factory' in Germany. The citizens who live near the factory will not allow it.

This is written by the German media Automobilewoche .

Thus, Tesla is again refused to expand the factory. Something that the brand has wanted for a long time, but it has been resisted for almost as long.

Because not everyone is equally enthusiastic about Tesla's plans. Among other things, the plans for an expansion of the German factory have met with criticism from the local population. They are concerned about the factory's environmental impact and water consumption.

And now, in a vote, the citizens have once again said no to the expansion plans. According to Automobilewoche, this means that the mayor of the town of Grünheide, where the factory is located, will not put the plans on the agenda for a future municipal council meeting.

However, the electric car brand is not the only car brand that is being rejected these days. It has also surpassed Cadillac. But in a completely different context. Read more about it here .
