It took longer than expected. But now the import of Ford in Denmark has come into Danish hands.
The Danish car importer Nic. The Christiansen Group has bought the import of Ford from the Ford Motor Company. Actually, that has been the agreement for the past nine months.
But it is only now that the agreement has completely fallen into place. Now the agreement just needs the approval of the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority.
That's what Motor magazine writes.
At Nic. Christiansen hopes that approval from the authorities can fall into place by the end of January 2025.

The ambitions are already present with the new Danish owner of Ford's Danish business. It's all about market share.
– I have a hope that with Ford on the passenger car side we will sneak up to a 5 percent market share with the electric cars that will come in the next one to two years, says director Niels Vrist Bertelsen to the media.
Ford is one of the few car brands that has actually produced cars in Denmark. But that adventure ended way back in 1966, when the brand closed its factory in Sydhavnen in Copenhagen.
Today, Ford is getting ready to leave another factory in Europe. At first, however, the Danish importer's press manager tried to deny to Boosted that the factory was for sale.
But now it turns out that the factory in Saarlouis, Germany, has to produce something completely different when Ford is scheduled to build the last ever Focus in the course of 2025. Read more about it here .
Ford has already said goodbye to a number of iconic models such as the Fiesta and Mondeo. Instead, the brand is attempting a revival of the Capri name. A model that also comes to Denmark.
