Tesla owners complain that their stainless cars are rusting

The car is brand new. Even so, Tesla Cybertruck owners are already starting to complain about rust on the otherwise rust-free cars.

There are still only a few copies of the Cybertruck that Tesla has sent onto the street. At least if you compare with the other model program.

Even so, the few owners have already begun to complain about cars rusting. Specifically, the owners complain that small rust spots form on the otherwise rust-free bodywork.

The problem first appeared on the Cybertruckownersclub forum. That's what Futurism writes.

Here, a user/Tesla Cybertruck owner complains that the rust has attacked a car that is only two days old.

– I picked up the car in California. And yesterday it rained heavily, so there are now quite a few small orange spots and marks on it.

They are very small, but they are visible. I haven't washed the car. But it has been two days of rain. There are several Cybertruck owners who believe they can recognize the problem.

A Cybertruck owner writes that he has contacted Tesla. Here it is recognized that there may be a problem. At the same time, the brand says that it also has a release.

But that you still don't have the opportunity to fix it. Apparently that requires some tools that Tesla doesn't have… yet.

Indeed, Tesla also acknowledges that corrosion can occur on the Cybertruck's otherwise stainless steel bodywork. For the same reason, the car brand comes up with a number of recommendations for owners. Read more about it here .
