He has until recently been at the head of the defunct GMB Motorsport. But Thue Henriksen does not give up – and now ST Competition is founded.
A new motorsport team is now emerging in the wake of the closure of Danish Le Mans team GMB Motorsports.
According to the people behind ST Competition, it is not just a color change, but new ambitions and energy. This is stated by the new team in a press release.
The new team owner is Thue Henriksen, who until recently was in charge of GMB Motorsport. And he already has the foundation ready.
"The team members include experienced mechanics, engineers and marketing people, all of whom bring their unique expertise and visions to the table – based on Jutland modesty and economic care," it reads.

Later this year, ST Competition will join the Danish Super GT class. Just as the team will be represented in the GT2 European Series.
The new team has seen the light of day just a few days after GMB Motorsport avoided bankruptcy but nevertheless threw in the towel.
– There are no sacred cows in this process. It is only the group's survival that is the focus now, said the founder of the now closed team, the wealthy René Birch, after the closure to Midtjylland's Avis .
René Birch's nephew, Simon Brich, who drives for GMB Motorsport, also drives for the new, Danish team. However, there are no immediate plans for Le Mans participation. In any case, it does not appear from the press release.
