Motormecca turns a deficit into a million dollar profit

My Garage in Vejle is a true mecca of cars for every taste. Now the latest figures show that the place today makes a solid profit.

Anders Kirk Johansen, great-grandson of Lego's founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen, has just presented the annual accounts for the company My Garage, which show a solid profit for 2023.

My Garage, located in Vejle, functions as an advanced car dealership where car lovers can find a wide range of services within servicing, car sales and events. Here they can also store and maintain their precious choir clothes.

In addition, the public has access to view the many cars, and everyone involved in My Garage becomes part of an exclusive community centered around the passion for cars. The company, which attracts 62,000 visitors annually, has just published an account for 2023 that shows positive results.

My Garage was established by Anders Kirk Johansen, who expresses great pride in being able to show a profit. "I am incredibly proud that we can now present a profit in My Garage."

"Because even though the company is run out of passion, it has always been important to me that it is also profitable. After all, we employ more than 50 employees and have many partners in the house, to whom I also feel a responsibility," he says.

The annual report for 2023 reveals a gross profit of DKK 23 million, compared to DKK 18 million in 2022. The profit for 2023 is DKK 700,000, a significant improvement from a deficit of DKK 1.8 million in 2022.

Expectations for 2024 point to a profit of between DKK 2 and 3 million. "For me and all the employees at My Garage, it is incredibly important that we can now show a small profit and that we are heading for even better times. The employees at My Garage deliver a dedicated effort every day, they really deserve a great deal thank you for your dedication," says Johansen.

My Garage not only offers the storage and maintenance of choir uniforms, but also the sale of exclusive car brands. Anders Kirk Johansen describes My Garage as a sanctuary for car enthusiasts and motor aficionados.
