ISUZU D-MAX dominates the pickup market in Denmark

ISUZU D-MAX became the best-selling pickup in Denmark in January with a market share of 40.48%.

New sales figures show that the model continues its progress despite a declining pickup market.

The ISUZU D-MAX has had a strong start to the year. According to new figures from bilstatistik.dk, the model was the best-selling pickup in Denmark in January.

At the same time, ISUZU has strengthened its position in a market that has declined overall. While pickup truck sales fell by 15% in 2024, ISUZU registrations increased by 15.15%.

The increasing interest is due, among other things, to an updated model with several technical improvements. Sales Director at ISUZU Denmark, René Andersen, explains that the D-MAX appeals to both business customers and private individuals.

"More people are choosing a solid and reliable workhorse. This is clearly seen in the figures for January," he says.

The facelifted ISUZU D-MAX has made it possible to attract more customers. The model is known for its versatility and robust construction, which makes it useful in many industries. At the same time, several configurations are offered, so it can be adapted to different needs.

ISUZU has also focused on safety. The D-MAX is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems such as Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. Double cab models also have eight airbags and a five-star Euro NCAP rating.

The model is designed for work, but also for leisure. It has a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons and a payload of over a ton.

Additionally, Rough Terrain Mode ensures it can handle rough terrain. The cabin has been updated with better materials and an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The success of the ISUZU D-MAX in January shows that customers continue to see the value in a reliable and versatile pickup. With a growing market share, ISUZU is well positioned for the rest of 2025.
