This is according to the Daily Star newspaper, which reveals that the former Top Gear host will be featured in the motoring program Car SOS.
Clarkson, who hasn't appeared on a car show since The Grand Tour ended in 2024, returns to the screen in a surprise appearance.
The show sees Jeremy Clarkson team up with regular hosts Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend to restore a worn-out Land Rover Discovery Series 1. The culmination of their work will be a surprise for the lucky car owner.
Tim Shaw, host of Car SOS, tells the Daily Star that he had heard from several in the industry that it was unlikely that Jeremy Clarkson would be interested in participating in the program.
The general opinion was that it was a project doomed to failure, but Shaw chose to try anyway.
– It was an all-or-nothing question: Could we drive out to Clarkson's house and reveal the car to its owner?
"I was shocked when Clarkson's assistant came back immediately after speaking to Jeremy – and the answer was yes. We were completely shocked," says Shaw.
Viewers follow Clarkson as he restores the car. The unveiling of the finished car is a special moment as it takes place at Clarkson's own home.
According to the Daily Star, Clarkson opened her home to the production to make the moment even more memorable. However, it was not a given that Clarkson would appear on the show.
Even though Clarkson was busy with other projects on his farm, he took the time to listen to the story of the car. And so it came to pass that he is making a comeback in something he swore he had shelved.
The episode, which airs in March, is expected to be a must-see for anyone who has missed Clarkson's presence in the world of cars. Although The Grand Tour has ended, there is no indication that Jeremy Clarkson is finished making automotive TV. At least not for good.
