The cars are rusting away in an abandoned Peugeot shop

Somewhere in France, several Peugeots are rusting away on a lot where one of the brand's dealers used to be.

There can be many reasons why a car dealer gives up. But few escape and throw some away to the spot.

Yet it suggests that may well have been the case for this Peugeot dealer Colin Smith has found abandoned in France.

Colin Smith is better known as The Bearded Explorer on a number of social media sites. Among other things on YouTube, where up to 208,000 users follow along when he goes exploring among abandoned things and cases.

However, it is very clear that the YouTuber is far from the first on the scene. Several of the cars parked there are well and truly smashed. If they are not well battered by wind and weather conditions.

The back story of the place is the small part. But judging by the cars that are the majority, the dealer/workshop probably closed down in the 90s or a bit into the 00s.

However, there are also some cars on site which appear to be much older. A true mystery, in other words.

This is far from the first time that someone on YouTube has shared moving images from an abandoned car dealership. This sort of thing pops up on a regular basis. Actually also here in Denmark.
