Especially the Mercedes from the Netflix hit is looking for a new owner

There are already not too many of them. But this particular 560 SEL Pullman is nothing short of a celebrity, straight from the cast of the hit Netflix series.

The Mercedes 560 SEL Pullman is a true statesman's car. Someone might say the dictator's favorite outfit.

At least the latter is not wrong. Over time, some of the world's most brutal rulers have only wanted to appear in public in a Pullman. But now you yourself have the chance.

This 560 SEL Pullman, built on the S-Class of the W126 range, is looking for a new home. The car is also a custom-built SGS 600 that was rebuilt by Styling Garage Hamburg. The starting point is the long version with extra wheelbase from the factory.

Under the long hood we find a 5.6-liter V8 engine with 280 horsepower. Otherwise, it only has a short 71,400 kilometres. Similar to the rest of the car otherwise.

The story goes that this particular Pullman, after the Mercedes assembly line spit it out in 1991, was sent to Japan, where it was rebuilt again by the car dealer in Tokyo who ordered it.

Since then, however, the car has found its home in Europe again, where Netflix caught sight of it. Because this particular car features in the fifth season of Netflix's hit series 'The Crown' about the British royal family.

In addition to the car and service history, the new owner also gets a number of photos with the deal. The pictures document that it is indeed the car that Netflix used.

But that's just the thing with the price. Because the car is not one of the 349 Pullmans that were built at Mercedes' own factory in Sindelfingen, but instead a rebuilt example, the price is not among the world's highest. But you still need to be able to find 60,000 euros in the budget. That is a good 450,000 Danish kroner.
