Two Tesla Cybertruck seized – were on their way to Russia

Two Tesla Cybertrucks have been seized by the authorities in Lithuania because the cars were on their way to Russia, which is not allowed to import this type.

The authorities in Lithuania have seized two Tesla Cybertrucks on the border with Belarus. The cars were, the authorities believe, on their way to Russia.

And because of international sanctions against the Putin regime in Moscow, they are not allowed to. Still, a sea of Russians is trying to circumvent the sanctions.

Among other things, because the country's motorists are quite tired of the fact that now only local, Russian brands and Chinese cars are present in the country. That is, officially.

However, the motorists persistently try to smuggle cars across the borders from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in particular.

The two Teslas are currently detained by the authorities in Lithuania, but the two drivers, whom the police stopped in the cars, have been released again.

Carscoops writes that.

However, it is not only in Lithuania that Cybertrucks appear outside the USA. In fact, a copy like this will officially – and without problems – also come to Denmark. Read more about it here .

Having said that, not all Cybertruck owners have the same understanding of the security around their cars. In fact, they are stupid enough to document their own mistakes and share it with the rest of the world. Read more about it here.

Back in Russia, where some drivers now have to look far for their cars, there are far from anything other than Chinese cars. At least if they are to be new. In fact, 9 out of 10 new cars on Russia's roads are now Chinese.
