As expected, Tesla's accounts show that 2023 went well in Denmark. 22,512 delivered cars feel good at the bottom of the coffin.

But he leaves behind a healthy business. At least on paper. Tesla Denmark's accounts show that the car brand shoveled money in here last year.
In 2023, this resulted in a turnover in Denmark of a whopping DKK 8.1 billion. This corresponds to an increase of 400 percent compared to the previous year.
That's what Borsen writes.
– The significant growth in revenue and deliveries is primarily driven by market conditions, increased attention to the Tesla brand and the effect of price reductions over the course of the year, reads the accounts from Tesla.
It also went excellently for Tesla on the Danish roads in 2023. In fact, the car brand sprayed so many cars onto the asphalt that the Americans succeeded in surpassing a 37-year-old record set by Opel in 1986. Read more about it here .
If we fast forward to today, however, Tesla should not expect to be able to repeat the success. At least not if we look at the immediate sales figures. After the first four months of the year, Toyota has taken first place.

Seen in the big picture, however, the business in Denmark is only a drop in the bucket. In fact, Tesla's total operating profit shrank by 35 percent last year. However, there was still $8.9 billion to collect after tax.
