Tesla Cybertruck dead after 50 km – warranty does not cover

Tesla Cybertruck owners would do well to read the fine print. Because it is not always that the brand will help when even brand new cars break down.

– I have never picked up a new car without a full tank. Wtf, Tesla?!

This is how the user Cybeast begins a post about his experience with an otherwise brand new Tesla Cybertruck on the CybertruckOwnersClub forum.

And from here it actually only gets worse. Because not only was there only 47 percent power on the battery in an already dirty car, the brand new Cybertruck broke down on the first trip.

Too far at a Tesla Supercharger it started pissing out of the car with carbonic fluid. When the owner contacted the car brand for help, the message was very simple.

Tesla's warranty does not cover leaks on the fuel system. But they came to that anyway, says the Cybertruck owner in the thread.

At the time of this article's publication, the forum thread is three pages long. And among the posts, no message about a final release has yet appeared.

As far as is known, the car is still in the hands of a Tesla service center after it had to be towed away from the charging station.

Incidentally, it is far from the first time that a Cybertruck owner has had problems with an otherwise brand new car. Thomas is one of the other Cybertruck owners who had to use a sweeper on day one of ownership. Read more about it here .
