New Porsche has 1,108 horsepower but only for 2 seconds

The most potent street car from Porsche ever has up to 1,108 horsepower. But only for two seconds with an overboost function.

We already know that the new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is the fastest street-legal electric car ever around the Nürburgring.

But now we also know that it is Porsche's most potent street car ever. With launch control and overboost, the output rises to 1,034 horsepower – and all the way up to 1,108 horsepower for two seconds.

This is what the Danish Porsche importer writes in a press release .

Normally, the new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT delivers 789 horsepower. Boiled down even more, this means that the new top model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.2 seconds.

Even more impressive, however, is that the car almost flies from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.4 seconds with the additional equipment Porsche calls the Weissach package.

In addition, the top speed is raised from 290 km/h to 305 km/h. The new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT will be introduced in late 2024.

When there will be Danish prices for the hideously fast German is yet to be seen. In any case, the importer does not have a bid in the press release on which this article is based.

Boosted follows suit.
