20-year-old Dane in the running for a Formula 1 seat: "No comment"

The only 20-year-old Dane Malthe Jakobsen has become a hot name in the world of motorsport. Apparently also in Formula 1.

Kevin Magnussen may not be the only Dane with a seat in Formula 1. At least not in the near future.

The only 20-year-old Malthe Jakobsen, who is currently competing in the European Le Mans Series, is currently such a hot name in the world of motorsport that he is being linked with a Formula 1 team.

That is written by BT .

It is Formula 1 journalist Mark Hughes who writes in Motor Sport Magazine that Red Bull's junior team RB F1 should at least consider giving Jakobsen a seat. And very soon. In fact already next season.

In front of BT, Malthe Jakobsen refuses to comment on the connection with RB F1. On the other hand, the Red Bull management is not known to have much patience with the many cocks who have been given the chance with the junior team.

And current drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda haven't exactly impressed anyone or anything. At the latest lob in China, both RB cockerels went out in other.

Speaking of the Danish islet in Formula 1, several things have happened in recent days that are good to see from a Danish perspective. That Nico Hulkenberg replaces Haas with Sauber next season is obviously good for Kevin Magnussen, says TV3's commentator Jens Hansen.

– There is no doubt that the change strengthens Kevin Magnussen's opportunities to drive for Haas in 2025, says Jens Hansen to TV3.

And another Dane has succeeded in grabbing the job that Mick Schumacher has otherwise sat alone until recently. Read more about it here .
