Rockstar confirms good news about Grand Theft Auto 6

The Internet almost overflows with criticism of Rockstar, because Grand Theft Auto 6 is so long overdue. But now there is good news from the developer.

Perhaps the most anticipated game release from Rockstar Games to date, Grand Theft Auto 6 is on its way. And actually more than that.

The parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has presented a forecast for how the revenue in 2025 is expected to look like. It can be briefly summarized like this: There are billions of dollars on the way.

Mostly because Rockstar Games is sticking to the schedule when it comes to Grand Theft Auto. According to ComicBook.com , Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick maintains that GTA 6 is ready for release in the fall of 2025.

– The Grand Theft Auto series exceeded our expectations. We have managed to maintain momentum towards the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in autumn 2025, says the director.

Strauss Zelnick spent the rest of his speaking time summarizing how well things are still going for the latest GTA release, Grand Theft Auto V. The game, although it was first released more than 11 years ago now, has been updated several times.

In addition, there are more and more users who use the online part of the game. Something Rockstar Games opened up for in October 2013. Just 13 days after GTA V release.

Another example of time passing quickly is the so far only trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. It is now eight months since it was released. The number used in the trailer was once written by the now deceased musician Tom Petty.

However, Petty got to experience another of his 1989 hits being used in the 2004 release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. A lucrative deal then, and now the musician's estate is making millions again. Read more about it here .
