Porsche owner demanded 10 million – now he owes DKK 95,000.

A Porsche 911 GT2 RS owner is demanding a total of 10.6 million Norwegian kroner from his insurance company because he himself was wrong. Now he has lost the case in the district court.

A Norwegian in his 50s only managed to have his Porsche 911 GT2 RS because he smashed it. Now he has also lost the compensation case in the district court.

The Norwegian man otherwise believes that he is entitled to compensation of 10.6 million kroner. The money was to cover repair costs and the price of a rental car.

That's what Motor writes.

The DKK 10.6 million is several million more than the Porsche owner initially received in compensation. However, the insurance company was not very willing to pay out the money at all, as it was believed that the man was lying.

So it all actually ended up in a completely different city court case for compensation. A case which the insurance company lost, and was therefore forced to cough up several million kroner.

But the first compensation is therefore ample and sufficient, the district court in Oslo has now decided in the new case. Blue. because the district court did not find it proven that the driver could document some of his many claims against the insurance company.

For the same reason, the Norwegian must now pay both his own and the insurance company's legal costs. They lobby up to 95,000 Norwegian kroner.

According to Motor's information, however, the case will probably not end in the district court. The Porsche owner told the media before the verdict that he would appeal the case if he lost.

It has actually happened because an insurance company has to fork out hideously large sums for an accident in a car. Also accidents of the slightly more alternative kind.

For example, a woman must receive DKK 37 million in compensation because she contracted venereal disease in the back seat of her boyfriend's car. Read more about it here .
