Hongqi is still a new name to many, but the brand has already made a name for itself in Denmark. The large E-HS9 was the starting point, and now a new model is following suit.
The Hongqi EHS7 is a fully electric SUV, and with an expanded dealer network, the car is now easier to see, touch, and test.
A number of car dealerships are inviting people to an Open House this week, where interested parties can take a test drive of the model. With a starting price of DKK 389,990, the EHS7 is in a class where several brands are competing for customers' attention.
New Hongqi dealer network provides better access
Interest in Hongqi has been growing, and as a result, the brand's presence has been strengthened. There are now dealers throughout the country, making it easier to see the car in person.
According to Alexander Bachmann, Brand Manager for Hongqi , the response has been positive and more models are on the way.
"After the launch of the E-HS9, we have seen increasing interest in Hongqi. With the EHS7, we are expanding our portfolio and making it easier for customers to experience the car up close," he says.
SUV with a focus on technology and functionality
The EHS7 is designed to combine electric power with a modern driving experience. The model features four-wheel drive, driver assistance systems and rear-wheel steering, giving it a turning radius of just 5.3 meters.
Another technical detail is the adaptive air suspension, which can be adjusted in six levels and adapted to road conditions. It ensures both comfort and better aerodynamics.
Inside the car, there is plenty of room for both driver and passengers. Rear seat passengers have over a metre of legroom, and the seats are both heated and ventilated. A large panoramic glass roof gives the cabin a bright and spacious atmosphere.
The in-car audio experience is also a priority. An advanced DIRAC sound system with 19 speakers ensures clear and well-balanced sound, regardless of the position in the car.
Efficient battery technology from Hongqi
The EHS7 is equipped with the latest CATL Gen 3 CTP battery technology. The battery delivers long range and fast charging from 10-80% in a short time, writes the Danish importer.
The technology ensures that charging takes place stably, even at lower temperatures, without the need for preheating above 10 degrees.
