Now Ettore Bugatti's life is becoming a movie

Ettore Bugatti died almost 80 years ago. Now the life of the Frenchman, who founded one of the world's finest car brands, is being turned into a film.

The film about Bugatti, which is scheduled to premiere sometime after 2025, will be the next biographical tale about an iconic car manufacturer from the same team behind Ford v. Ferrari. So with producer Andrea Iervolino.

The upcoming film will focus on Ettore Bugatti, the founder and first director of the brand that still bears his name today. In the style of the previous productions about Lamborghini and Ferrari, the film will depict the life of Bugatti and his influence on the world of cars.

This is written by Deadline .

The plot will be based on Bugatti's early years and the founding of the Bugatti brand in 1909. The film will also touch on the challenges the company faced, especially after the death of son Jean Bugatti in 1939, which had major consequences for the company.

Filming will take place in France and Italy, with the first scenes scheduled to be shot in early 2025. An international cast is expected to be used, and as with Iervolino's previous films, the dialogue will be in English.

– After the successes of our films about Lamborghini and Ferrari, I am happy to be able to bring another global car icon to the screen.

– Bugatti will be a film that honors the passion and innovation that has defined one of the most iconic car manufacturers of all time, says Andrea Iervolino.

Although no director or actors have been announced for the film yet, there are speculations that big names will be involved.

Iervolino's previous projects have attracted well-known actors such as Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari, and the Lamborghini film starred Frank Grillo.

The new Bugatti movie is part of a wider trend in car-based movies and series. There are also several other projects in the works, including Maserati: The Brothers , which is directed by Oscar winner Bobby Moresco. This project is also expected to have prominent names such as Anthony Hopkins and Michele Marrone on the cast.

The Bugatti film comes at the same time as an increasing interest in car stories on film and TV. Other upcoming projects include a film about Matchbox cars starring John Cena as well as a Netflix series about F1 driver Ayrton Senna.
