In Yorkshire, England, there is an abandoned Mercedes that has piqued the curiosity of locals and internet users alike. The car has been in the same place for over 12 years, and no one knows the reason for the German's apparently permanent parking.
The questions pile up: Who owns the car? Why was it left behind? And why does he still have license plates on? Car enthusiasts in particular are interested in the now classic car, which hides an unknown history.
TikTok user Bewildered Yorkshire has even dubbed the car "The Mysterious Merc of Shipley" and made it an alternative Yorkshire landmark.
The TikTok user himself remembers how, for the past several years, he has passed the parked Mercedes, which is at the entrance to an older pub in the city.
To find answers to the mystery, the TikTok user has investigated the case using Google Maps. The pictures show that the car has been in the same place since at least 2012.
