Kevin Magnussen admits – can quit Formula 1 now

Dane Kevin Magnussen is officially without a Formula 1 contract ahead of the 2025 season. And anything else can be difficult, the 31-year-old Dane now admits.

Like few others, Kevin Magnussen has the experience of going in and out of Formula 1. On top of that, with a sensational comeback in 2022.

But it could be over soon. For the 31-year-old Dane officially has no contract ahead of the 2025 season. Faced with several media prior to Canada's grand prix, the admission then also fell:

Yes. There is a chance that it will happen, Magnussen said when asked if he risks being without a Formula 1 seat in 2025.

But the Dane has no intention of giving up so easily. Magnussen is first and foremost looking for opportunities in Formula 1. And only if all doors are closed there, he will look for something new elsewhere.

However, it is not a K-Mag that is about to panic over the situation, he says. On the contrary, the Dane insists that he is in a better place than last season. At least in terms of choir, and that it is external things that drag it down.

And here an unfortunate episode during the race in Canada can actually be added to the list. Haas destroyed the Dane's pit stop, as the mechanics made the Dane's pit stop 8 seconds. Eternities in a Formula 1 context.

Having said that, Kevin Magnussen has been heavily criticized for his choral style. However, he is not the only one in the current Formula 1 field who has gained a lot of rank along the way. Another is RB's Daniel Ricciardo, who has struck again. Read more about it here .
