"Han" from Fast and Furious returns in new car movie

Rumors of a new drift movie starring Fast and Furious star Sung Kang aka "Han" are currently circulating. The 53-year-old actor has been spotted in mysterious disguise at Formula Drift.

53-year-old actor Sung Kang has been spotted at a Formula Drift event, sparking rumors of a possible new drift film starring the Fast and Furious star, who goes by the name Han in that universe.

Sung Kang was dressed in what looked like a janitor during the event. He also wore a hat and a face mask, making him difficult to recognize. He also had several brooms with him.

According to American media, filming was taking place at the event. The filming is believed to be for a new film focusing on drifting. In any case, several stunt crews have already been hired for the filming.

This isn't the first time Sung Kang has been seen in the special attire. He was previously seen in similar attire at a car event in New Jersey. This suggests a planned project.

Sung Kang is best known for his role as Han Lue in the Fast and Furious film series. His character is popular among fans of the films and car culture.

Brian Scotto: The man behind Gymkhana?

Incidentally, Sung Kang is not the only one with a car-related CV on set, if there are any films to speak of.

The film is reportedly to be directed by Brian Scotto, who was one of the driving forces behind Ken Block's popular Gymkhana film.

Those films are known for their spectacular stunt driving and cinematic quality. Scotto's background alone should give a new car movie weight.

Brian Scotto's background in both acting and film production makes him an interesting name in that context. At least he should know how to put together an interesting car movie.

However, it's still unclear exactly what film is being worked on. There's no official confirmation on the title or overall plot yet, so the mystery surrounding the project remains great.

We haven't been able to find anything more specific about Sung Kang's actual role in the film. Whether he plays a leading role, a supporting role or just has a cameo is still unknown. The caretaker costume doesn't give much to go by.

Sung Kang: From F&F to Formula Drift?

That Sung Kang has been seen in connection with Formula Drift may not be that unusual. But it is interesting. Perhaps especially for his fans, who often overlap with the racing series' audience.

However, the contrast between Kang's stardom and humble attire should pique curiosity. It could be part of a role or a deliberate stunt to generate attention.

Car enthusiasts and Fast and Furious fans will have to be patient in the meantime. More information about the mysterious car movie will probably be released soon. Until then, it will remain rumors and speculation.

The potential for a new film focused on drifting, possibly featuring the expertise of Sung Kang and Brian Scotto, nevertheless sounds promising.

While we wait for news about Sung Kang's possible film role, you can immerse yourself in the world of cars here at Boosted.dk. Also when it comes to the part of the world of cars that ends up on the big screen.
