Denmark's oldest car is dead – was for sale for 12 years

The little Space Star has survived the fact that Mitsubishi first pulled out of Denmark and immediately afterwards was abandoned again. But now it's over.

You may be able to find a factory-new Mitsubishi Space Star at a dealer in Denmark. But then it is a stock car.

Because the importer has apparently removed the price of the Space Star from its website. But for that, it was actually Denmark's cheapest – and oldest – brand new car.

In May, the price was lowered even further. Presumably to get rid of stockpiles of cars around the country. Read more about it here .

The new age president on the Danish car market is the Tesla Model S. In fact, the American electric car continues where the little Mitsubishi leaves off. Both cars came to the world for the first time in 2012.

Back at Mitsubishi, the Danish importer is not the only one waving goodbye to the little Japanese. The colleagues in the USA do the same.

In fairness, it must be said that there are actually new cars on the Danish market that are older than the Mitsubishi Space Star. And yet.

Because even though the Dacia Sandero has been on sale since 2008, the car is no longer built on the same platform as back then. Furthermore, Renault first took their car brand to Denmark in April 2013.

And now we started this article by saying that Mitsubishi first thought it was over in Denmark, but later regretted it all. Actually right after. In England, things went even wilder.

Here, the importer managed to sell his rare collection of cars, because it was found that Mitsubishi did not withdraw from Europe after all. Read more about it here .
