Russia taken into account – Zelensky has not bought a Bugatti

Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska has been mentioned in the Russian media as buying a Bugatti Tourbillion. But the news, which has been reported in several media, is logn.

In the past week, Russian media have claimed that Ukraine's first lady Olena Zelenska is among just 250 people worldwide who have purchased a Bugatti Tourbillon.

But the news, which has been reported in several Russian media, is logn from end to end.

– You can clearly see how it has been manipulated, says Clement Briens, who is a data security expert, to the American media CNN .

The Bugatti dealer in Paris has also issued a press release, which was shared via the social media Instagram, in which they reject the story.

The Russian media has videos of an alleged Bugatti seller. Just as an 'invoice' has appeared which allegedly shows that Olena Zelenska has paid 4.4 million (probably euros, ed.) to have a Tourbillon delivered on March 31, 2026.

The first lady must have ordered the car on 7 June, which means that she has the opportunity to make the absolute last changes to the car on 22 October this year. But it's all a log fabricated with artificial intelligence.

The Danish media TjekDet.dk, which has previously criticized Boosted for conveying Rowan Atkinson's position on electric cars, also claims that Bugatti has denied the story to them.

Something that is true enough, on the other hand, is that Bugatti's previous owners would actually have turned the brand into an electric car brand. But as Boosted could already tell in 2022, Mate Rimac got his way, so that those plans were scrapped again. Read more about it here .

It is also true that the name of the new Bugatti put Google's algorithms down. Tourbillon is not just the name of a car with 1,800 horsepower. It is also a component in very fine watches.
