Classic Race is resurrected in Jutland – celebrity becomes director

It will be a local celebrity who sits in the director's chair when the Classic Race is resurrected in Viborg. The first lob should already have been this year.

A wave of sadness went through the Danish automotive world when Classic Race Aarhus announced that it was pulling the plug on bankruptcy.

Since then, some angry neighbors of the lot have tried to get a million in compensation from Aarhus Municipality, which had laid asphalt for the lot. However, the angry types did not get much out of it. Read more about it here .

And now the Classic Race is being resurrected in Jutland. Boosted could already tell about that last year. However, the event, which will now be held in Viborg, had to be canceled this year due to further opposition. Read more about it here .

But it should be good enough. The people behind Classic Race have even found a lob director in Nils Holm, who until recently was part of Latinerly in the same city.

Now, for the same reason, Classic Race believes it has enough in place to be able to set a date for the classic motor race. It will be on the weekend of the 23rd-25th. May 2025.

In Copenhagen, where the Classic Race continues to take place, the organizers are not immune to criticism from angry neighbors either. This also applies even if the lob is legal and planned with the municipality's blessing.

One of those who absolutely cannot see the point of the lob in Copenhagen is Jakob Poulsen. He is a neighbor of the lob and complained to TV2 Kosmopol last year.

– You cannot be here in the area. You can't sit outside at all, neither on your balcony nor here on the grass, it seemed.

And Jakob Poulsen is not alone. Both SF, Enhedslisten and Alternativet opposed when Copenhagen City Hall voted to pre-approve the race race.
