The world's best charging park for electric cars is NOT in Denmark

In fact, Denmark was not even part of the race when the world's best charging park for electric cars had to be found. On the other hand, the Norwegians are at the very top.

Norwegians are busy.

As early as January 1, 2025, the country's government plans to ban the import and sale of all new diesel and gasoline cars in the country. Read more about it here .

So it probably doesn't help that there are already many electric cars in the country. But now the Norwegians can at least say they have the world's best charging station.

Retail specialist Insight and mobility company Vontier were behind the competition for the world's best charging park. A total of ten international charging stations competed for the title, which was divided into first, second and third places.

The competition was decided on Thursday last week, and here DCC Certas Energy Mandal in Norway ended up drawing the longest straw.

The competitors in second place are in Sweden. Specifically in Gothenburg, while German Seed & Greet had to settle for third place.

– Wow, what an honor to even be mentioned along with these amazing facilities! Congratulations and thanks to Circle K and Seed & Greet for a close match and for taking a big step in the energy transition with us, writes DCC Certas Energy on Linkedin .

Here at home, the Road Directorate has had to rebuild two charging parks because the country's largest charging operator has not been able to comply with the contract. Read more about the dismissal here .
