The Kia EV9 drops over DKK 225,000 in price in Denmark

Kia EV9, which is the brand's largest electric car in Denmark, is now reduced by more than DKK 225,000 compared to the starting point at launch.

The price of the Kia EV9 is now falling significantly in Denmark, and the model range is expanding. Launched last fall, the electric SUV is now available in a new Standard Range model with a 76.1 kWh battery and a range of 443 km (WLTP). The price for the base model starts at DKK 449,999.

This model is introduced in a new "Upgrade" trim level that sits below the previous entry-level "Premium" trim level.

For comparison, the Kia EV9 cost from DKK 675,000 when it was first priced by the importer back in August 2023.

The Long Range model with a 99.8 kWh battery, 203 hp and a range of up to 563 km (WLTP) is now also offered in the "Upgrade" equipment variant at a price from DKK 509,999.

For buyers who want more power, a Long Range Performance model is introduced with 384 hp and a towing capacity of 2,500 kg. This variant in "Upgrade" equipment costs from DKK 549,999.

In addition to the new models, Kia has adjusted the prices of the existing EV9 models. The Long Range Premium model now starts from DKK 574,999.

While the Performance model is available from DKK 614,999, the GT-Line model has received the biggest price reduction and now costs from DKK 699,999, a reduction of DKK 50,000 from the previous price.

With the introduction of new models and price adjustments, Kia aims to make the EV9 more accessible to Danish car buyers.
