Tesla lowers the price again – just not for everyone

Quite a few motorists will in the coming time miss out on Tesla's price reduction, which also only lasts for one month.

Tesla again, again, again lowers the price. But this time the car brand's offer only lasts a short time. Actually only one month.

And it is far from all car owners who can get 'joy' from the offer. Because it only applies to Tesla's customers in the home market in the USA.

This is written by several media – i.a. news agency Reuters .

Specifically, Americans can save 1,000 dollars, equivalent to 7,000 kroner, on the Model Y with rear-wheel drive, which is expected by many to face a major facelift.

However, this is not the immediate reason for the price reduction. At least not if you ask Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Instead, it is about enticing people to buy a car in the winter.

Something the motorists otherwise don't mind if you ask the managing director.

– This is the fundamental dilemma in the industry: Factories need continuous production to be efficient, but consumer demand is seasonal, writes Musk on his own social media X.
