Stotter Schumacher: "Better than half of the Formula 1 field"

Mick Schumacher probably does not have a permanent seat in Formula 1. Still, the former Ferrari manager believes that the young German is among the best.

If you ask Jean Todt, who from 1994 to 2007 was Ferrari's team manager in Formula 1, there is hardly anyone better than Schumacher.

And no, probably not the Michael Schumacher most people think of in that context. Instead, the 78-year-old Frenchman believes he can see great light in his son Mick Schumacher.

– Mick is better than half of the current Formula 1 drivers, reads a comment from Todt to the German Bild .

The young Mick Schumacher spent a very long time without his father's famous surname, but has since adopted it. And that has not necessarily been an advantage, believes Todt.

– The pressure on him (Mick Schumacher, ed.) was unfair, says his father's former team manager.

Right now, the Schumacher son is designing a hypercar for Alpine, among other things. And it could be the gateway to a comeback in the world's finest motorsport class.

In any case, there are several in the media who connect the 25-year-old German with the seat that Alpine has not yet filled, after the "firing" of Esteban Ocon. Read more about it here.

However, the fact that Jean Todt has a scam with Mick Schumacher is not the only new thing from that side. The family has been subjected to blackmail to such an extent that the police have now arrested two men in the case. Read more about it here .
