Speeding cop admits 'sloppy' with footage

The well-known TV police officer Preben Sandager, who is currently the focal point of a lawsuit, had to explain himself to the management of the Central and West Zealand Police back in 2016.

Traffic officer Preben Sandsager, who is currently the subject of a case of speeding, has quite a reputation with his employer, the Midt- og Vestsjællands Police.

This is what Ekstra Bladet tells in the Afhort podcast.

It has also previously emerged that Sandager, who has spoken to the media several times about his work, does not wish to comment on the new criticism.

Sandager, who was reported to the Independent Police Complaints Authority by the Central and West Zealand Police, has had to be reprimanded several times due to his methods in his work as a traffic police officer.

In 2016 alone, Preben Sandager had a so-called official interview because management believed that he had manipulated video material from the civilian police car he was driving around in on as many as 9 occasions.

In the trial that is currently underway at the Court in Næstved, Sandager, according to information from Ekstra Bladet, was not very willing to comment on the official interview.

However, he would like to acknowledge that 'he must have been sloppy with some recordings and speed measurements'.

The next court hearing in the case, where a 60-year-old man risks losing his driver's license, his freedom, and an Audi RS 6, is not until May.
