Short into the police – now he loses his choir card for 10 years

A 26-year-old man, who briefly joined the police, had to wave goodbye to the preliminary court for a whole 10 years at the subsequent trial.

Accidents happen every day. Especially in traffic.

But there are just some drivers you don't want to crash with. A good example of this is the police. Not just because a case will most likely come out of it.

You also risk losing your choir card. Even very long. This is exactly what happened to a 26-year-old man from Vig on Zealand.

Central and West Zealand's public prosecutor's office writes this on the social media "X".

On September 9, the cocaine-impaired driver was sentenced to five months in prison because he lost control of the car several times, got behind the wheel, and finally rear-ended a patrol car.

However, the prison sentence is not everything. He was also told to pay a fine of DKK 25,500 and that he must not approach a car for the following ten years. At least not in such a way that he sings it himself.

However, the drug-induced carousel was not the man's only headache. The 26-year-old also ended up being convicted of embezzlement because he had bought a stolen mini digger worth a quarter of a million kroner.

However, it is not always that the police are successful in taking the driver's license from a driver who smokes in the 'trap'. This happened, for example, when a 31-year-old man chose to defend himself in court.

The police otherwise suggested that he should get rid of his driving license and cough up a rather large fine for drug driving. In the High Court, however, the mother-in-law's coffee ended up getting the blame. However, the police would not subsequently apologize for their mistake. Read more about it here .
