What are the parking rules where you live? Probably not as strict as in Ringsted.
In the city centre, motorists are only allowed to park for one hour. And it scares them away, something you especially notice in the shops.

A shop owner, Bo Jensen, says to the media that he will not recommend Ringsted to others. Conditions have become so bad for the traders and their customers by car.

But already back in January, according to the media, 74 of the city's business operators were confronted for rebelling against the rigid parking rules.
And perhaps the dissatisfaction has reached the city council chamber. In any case, the city's Liberal mayor, Klaus Hansen, says that "there is a will to do something about the rules".
However, the intention is no greater than that the city council simply wants to consider whether the parking time should be increased to three hours, and if that happens, it should only be as an experiment for six months.
