New Mazda6e coming to Denmark in 2025

It's not a spelling mistake. The new Mazda6e should be spelled with a lowercase 'e' at the end. However, the elegant sedan will be coming to Denmark during the summer.

The Mazda6e will arrive in Denmark in the summer of 2025. The new electric car is a 5-door model with a coupe-like design. The Mazda6e is the latest addition to Mazda's range of electric cars.

The Mazda6e is offered with two different battery sizes. One version has a 68.8 kWh battery, which provides a range of up to 479 km. The battery can be charged at up to 200 kW, meaning it can be charged from 10-80% in 22 minutes.

The electric motor produces 258 hp. The second version, the Mazda6e Long Range, has an 80 kWh battery and a range of up to 552 km.

The electric motor in this version produces 245 hp. Both versions have a torque of 320 Nm, drive the rear wheels and have an acceleration from 0-100 km/h in under 8 seconds. Top speed is 175 km/h.

The Mazda6e is designed with Mazda's "Kodo: Soul of Motion" philosophy. The car's design is characterized by sharp lines, a low roofline and a coupé-like silhouette.

The tailgate, where the rear window opens upwards, gives the car a practical element. The design includes details such as an illuminated signature wing between the headlights, frameless side windows and integrated door handles.

The taillights have a distinct light signature, and an electric rear spoiler contributes to the car's dynamic appearance.

The interior of the Mazda6e is inspired by the Japanese concept of "ma", which focuses on simplicity and spaciousness. Both front and rear seat passengers have good legroom, and the panoramic roof provides natural light.

The importer writes this in a press release .

Quality materials create a subdued atmosphere, and the floating center console and instrument panel give a feeling of lightness.

The Mazda6e is available in two trim levels. Takumi has an interior with beige or black artificial leather, while Takumi Plus has brownish Nappa leather and suede, as well as electric sunblinds for the panoramic roof.

The digital cockpit features a 14.6” touch-sensitive color screen that can be customized to the driver’s preferences.

In addition, there is a 10.2” digital instrument cluster and a Head-up display with “Augmented Reality” that shows information about speed, safety features and navigation directly in the driver’s field of vision. The car has a SonyPRO system® with 14 speakers.

Safety has been a central element in the development of the Mazda6e. The car has 9 airbags and a number of active safety systems.

The price of the Mazda6e has not yet been announced, but the car is expected to hit the Danish market in the summer of 2025.
