Luftgekühlt Copenhagen: International Porsche event in Denmark

Porsche enthusiasts and sports car fans have something special to look forward to when the renowned American event Luftgekühlt lands in Scandinavia for the first time.

The large-scale event takes place on 7 September at Copenhagen Airport and promises to be an unforgettable experience for all participants.

Luftgekühlt, which means "air cooled" in German, is not just a traditional car meet. It is a cultural phenomenon that combines the passion for Porsche with unique surroundings that make the experience of the cars very special.

The event showcases a wide range of both original, top-restored and patinated models from the air-cooled era, ranging from the first 356s in 1948 to the 993 generation of the 911 in 1998. This combination of cars and their personal touch creates an atmosphere that goes far beyond just being a car show.

In just a few years, Luftgekühlt has evolved from being a spontaneous gathering of Porsche enthusiasts in Venice, Los Angeles, to becoming a global phenomenon with a dedicated following. For many fans, this event is a must-see and they are willing to travel around the world to attend. Now they finally have the opportunity to experience this unique event in Copenhagen, where the historic Vilhelm Lauritzen Terminal forms the setting for the event.

The iconic Vilhelm Lauritzen Terminal in Copenhagen Airport, which was built in 1939 and is an excellent example of Danish modernism, will be the main stage for Luftgekühlt Copenhagen. Together with Hangar 145 and the outdoor areas that have a view of the runways, an impressive backdrop is created for the event. Around 250 cars will be on display here, and guests can look forward to everything from rare racing cars to unique patinated choir uniforms.

The event kicks off on September 7 from 10am to 5pm, and tickets can be purchased online. In addition, there will be entertainment, food and drink from popular actors such as Gasoline Grill, Joe & The Juice and the brewery To Øl. Jägermeister and Porsche Classic will also be present with exciting cars and setups that help create just the right atmosphere. BUY TICKETS HERE!

For those who can't wait for the event itself, a free pre-event will be organized on 6 September from 17.00 to 21.00 at H15 in Kodbyen on Vesterbro. Here you will be able to get a sneak peek at some of the cars participating in Luftgekühlt, including the latest Porsche models such as the fully electric Macan Turbo and the lightning-fast Taycan Turbo GT.

Luftgekühlt Copenhagen is an independent event supported by Porsche AG and Porsche Denmark, among others. This year they are taking the opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Turbo. All information about tickets and car registration can be found on Luftgekühlt's official website RIGHT HERE!

This event promises to be one of the biggest events of the year for Porsche fans, where the cars become works of art and the history of Porsche is given new life in a Danish context.
