Huge celebrity modified car to fit in it

Basketball star Shaquille O'Neal has problems with his height. At least when it comes to cars. The giant celebrity has removed two doors from his Lucid for the same reason.

At 7 feet 2 inches tall and with a huge bankroll, basketball star Shaquille O'Neal can pretty much do as he pleases. However, it's not certain that the giant celebrity is comfortable.

At least not behind the wheel. However, he has apparently solved the problem with a car that is second to none.

The wealthy and almost 150 kilo American has had West Coast Customs – yes, the ones from the MTV hit Pimp My Ride – convert a Lucid Air.

West Coast Customs has removed the two rear doors so that 'Shaq' has enough room for his enormously long legs. How much the basketball star paid for the conversion is unknown, but the car alone is no slouch.

Because even though Lucid charges $72,000 (equivalent to 511,000 kroner) for a regular "Air", the brand puts money into every single car. Read more about it here .

But back to the former basketball pro. It's not the first time that the 2.16-meter-tall man has had a custom-built car. Last year, he invested in nothing less than a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Such a thing costs from $450,000 in the United States. On top of that, you have to add the fortune that the conversion has cost. It's probably best not to ask.

On the other hand, O'Neal's garage pales in comparison to the Sultan of Brunei. The now 78-year-old Hassanal Bolkiah is believed to have a collection of no less than 7,000 cars. He bought, among other things, 10 out of just 106 McLaren F1s when the car was in production.
