The Ferrari 488 Spider that the police sold at auction in January will stay in Denmark. Specifically, the million-dollar car will go to Horsens.
The then 61-year-old man was not very happy with his newly leased Ferrari 488 Spider. However, the car remains in Denmark after the state confiscated it.

The very same day the 61-year-old man picked up the car from the leasing company Formula Leasing, he was caught for reckless driving on the highway. This was just two days after the law on reckless driving was introduced back in March 2021.
But it would take a full three years to decide the case in the High Court, which ended up approving the state's confiscation of the car.
Later, the police believed that the Ferrari should have cost 1 million kroner, even though it is from 2018 and not exactly from the special department Tailor Made in Maranello.
That said, the car has just 295 kilometers on the clock. And after a thorough service, all 670 horsepower from the car's 3.9-liter V8 engine with twin turbos should be at home.
There's just one problem: 2018 is 7 years ago this year. And so the new owner has to pay for service themselves. Ferrari's factory-guaranteed service plan (that means free service, ed.) expires when the car is 7 years old.
Where will the car go? Yes, it will stay in Denmark. According to TV Syd, a man from Horsens ended up being the highest bidder, who bid 1.7 million kroner.
The leasing company also informs Motormagasinet that they have not suffered any loss from the fact that the state took the car from the 61-year-old man back in 2021, and thus ultimately them.
