Fisker has not paid for cars – owes DKK 8.6 billion. kroner

The car manufacturer Magna Steyr, which has built cars for Fisker Inc., believes that the car brand has not paid its bill. 160 creditors do the same.

Fisker Inc. has been struggling to stay alive ever since the brand built the first car at the Magna Steyr factory in Austria.

And in mid-June it stopped working. Fisker Inc. with Danish Henrik Fisker has applied for bankruptcy protection in the USA.

There are 161 creditors left and they are fighting over the money in the remains of the company. Now the requirements have been settled, and i.a. Magna Steyr therefore believes it has more than 1.16 billion euros to its credit from the bankrupt car brand.

However, Fisker will only recognize a debt in the order of 10.92 million euros, corresponding to 81.45 million kroner. Therefore, a civil lawsuit is now underway against Fisker's Austrian subsidiary. The same that handled the contact to Magna Steyr.

According to Industriemagazin, it cannot be ruled out that more creditors will come forward. But it is far from certain that these even see the shadow of their creditors.

In the American response to the bankruptcy court, Fisker's lawyer has stated that the company's assets are a stock of just over 4,300 cars that they are trying to sell on to one and the same buyer.

However, this buyer has not wanted to confirm whether they have contact with and are in dialogue with Fisker. The car brand's lawyer also used his speaking time in the bankruptcy court to slander the media. Media which he believes have given Fisker 'unfair treatment'. Read more about it here .
