FCK player faces expulsion for reckless driving

FC Copenhagen says it supports the team's Mexican footballer Rodrigo Huescas, even though he risks being sent off for speeding at 111 km/h.

After a rampage at Kalvebod Brygge, FC Kobenhavn player Rodrigo Huescas can now look forward to a possible prison sentence and deportation from Denmark.

FC Kobenhavn player Rodrigo Huescas faces a serious future in Denmark. He risks both a prison sentence and possible deportation from the country. The serious scenario has arisen after an episode of crazy driving in Kobenhavn.

The incident took place at Kalvebod Brygge in the capital. Here, the young FCK player was measured to be driving at a whopping 111 kilometers per hour. The permitted speed on the stretch in question is only 50 kilometers per hour.

The speeding has already had noticeable consequences for the young Mexican. His car was immediately confiscated by the police on the spot. In addition, he has lost his driving license and received a significant fine.

However, the case could develop even worse for the footballer. The prosecution in the case is seeking a sentence of 20 days in prison without parole. The basis is the gross nature of the offense, which falls under the rules for insanity offenses.

However, there is a possibility that any prison sentence can be served outside of a prison. Lawyer Mikkel Cramer has assessed that there is a good chance that Huescas can be allowed to serve his sentence with anklets.

FC Copenhagen supports the player

The employer FC Kobenhavn is fully aware of the seriousness of the situation. The Superliga club is following developments in the case closely. The management knows that an expulsion is a real possibility for their player.

Head coach Jacob Neestrup has spoken out about the matter. He confirms that the club is in close dialogue with Rodrigo Huescas. They are also communicating continuously with his backroom staff to support him.

This is what Tipsbladet writes.

"It's a completely unimaginable potential consequence for a young man," says Jacob Neestrup. He refers specifically to the threat of deportation from Denmark.

– We are trying to support and help him as best we can, on the back of the big mistake that he has made and acknowledged, the FCK head coach added to the press.

Despite the legal and personal problems, Huescas is expected to continue to deliver top performances on the football field for FCK. It is undoubtedly a very challenging situation for the young professional athlete.

Risk of deportation threatens career

The most serious potential consequence for Rodrigo Huescas' football career is the threat of deportation. The prosecution has officially announced that they will pursue the possibility of having him deported from Denmark.

Should Rodrigo Huescas end up being sent off, it will definitely mean an immediate end to his time at FC Kobenhavn. He will no longer be able to play for the Danish club in the Superliga.

The case has not yet been decided by a court. Rodrigo Huescas' future in Denmark and his continued career at FC Copenhagen therefore remains uncertain. The coming time will determine his fate.

The episode with Rodrigo Huescas focuses on the consequences of reckless driving. On Boosted.dk you can read more about the rules for reckless driving and see examples of cars that have been confiscated by the police as a result of violations.
