Boosted has previously told that the Danes flock to Sweden to keep up with cheap petrol and diesel. Now the price has fallen to 11 Danish kroner per litre.
Sweden has the cheapest diesel in the Nordics. And it's actually only gotten cheaper since Boosted told how Danes in particular are waiting to refuel on the other side of the Øresund.
Now the price per liter down to 16.39 Swedish kroner. This corresponds to 11.1 Danish kroner. Which is actually the lowest price of fuel in Sweden in the last 3 years.
The cheapest diesel is in the town of Älmhult. A small, local oil company, which actually makes a living by transporting fuel, is based here.
The idea of selling fuel to private individuals only came about later. But it has proven to be a success.

This is what Markus Forsen, the owner of the gas station, tells Carup .
– We have a goal of being cheap and accessible to those who live and work here. We have many customers and a great many companies that think here, it says.
Here at home, diesel is not quite as cheap as in Sweden. Far from actually. The latest report from Drivkraft Danmark, which monitors fuel prices in Denmark, shows that one liter of diesel costs DKK 13.49.
The higher price must be attributed to ever-increasing taxes that the Danish government places on the fuel. And more are on the way. On 1 January 2025, the government will raise taxes once again. Read more about it here .
However, people in electric cars do not go completely free either. The latest agreement on registration fees, which is from December 2020, raises the price of electric cars for the fourth time when we hit the New Year.
