But now the car in which Clarkson spent half of 1993 is up for sale. Incidentally, the Escort RS Cosworth was only built for a very short period between 1992 and 1995.
One of the reasons whyIconic Auctioneers , who have the car up for auction today, believes that it should cost somewhere between 575,000 and 663,000 Danish kroner.
The car featured both in Top Gear Magazine and in the later TV publication Clarkson's Car Years. The car is three of just three prototypes that were made for series production. The car here is, among other things, without a catalytic converter.
