Bugatti is considering gas stations as an option

When it comes to Bugatti's customers, it is hardly the economy that sets limits on the optional equipment list.

There may come a day when at least Bugatti's customers can get a petrol station as an optional extra.

In any case, Bugatti's Croatian owner Mate Rimac has thought of the idea. He came up with this himself during the Future of the Car fashion in London, which was recently organized by the Financial Times newspaper.

– We will be able to make some beautiful petrol stations with synthetic fuel at the owners' own homes, said the relatively young car boss of 36 years.

That's what Auto Express writes.

When Mate Rimac entered into an agreement on Bugatti with the previous owners from Volkswagen, it was not without some arm-twisting. However, Mate Rimac got his way so that future Bugatti models do not become electric cars. Read more about it here .

It comes as no great surprise that Mate Rimac speaks warmly for and about synthetic fuels. The deal that secured him control of Bugatti also meant that he handed over 45 percent of his own company to Porsche.

And in Zuffenhausen, where Porsche has its headquarters, a lot of work is already being done with the development of synthetic fuel. The so-called e-fuel. In fact, the Germans put so much into it that there is already an e-fuel factory in Chile. And the plan is for more factories to go up.

Right now, however, only Porsche's own racing cars run on synthetic gasoline. On the other hand, the brand expects that each team in the SuperCup will use 50,000 liters of the artificial petrol.

Back at Bugatti, the veil for the Chiron's successor will be lifted as early as next month. Specifically, June 20. The factory in Molsheim, France, will not yet say much.

Other than the fact that we are dealing with a V16 engine. However, we also know that the speedometer in the car, which is said to have been developed from scratch, goes to 550 km/h. Read more about it here .
