Another Danish car company has given up: "It's due diligence"

Less than one month ago, the dealer, located in Helsinge, gave up and wound up the business. Now the physical framework has been sold.

Seehusen Biler has existed since 2000. In 2014, the business moved into a then newly constructed domicile at Rundinsvej 63 in Helsinge.

But on January 10 this year, the people behind had to give up completely and close the company. According to the company register, this happened as a 'voluntary liquidation'.

That is, where a majority of the board has approved the closure with a two-thirds majority. And now one of the biggest assets, the framework of the car business itself, has been sold.

This is stated by estate agent Poul Erik Bach in a press release .

Cars will no longer be sold from the address in Helsinge. But the now former owners of the plot in Helsinge call it due diligence.

– The car industry is undergoing a violent upheaval. This means that large car dealerships in smaller towns come under even more pressure, so we have simply chosen to sell while the game was still good.

– In the process after the sale and closure, we have fortunately been able to ascertain that our loyal employees have all found new jobs.

– Furthermore, our customers are referred to other car dealerships for help, so we are satisfied with that, says Jesper Seehusen and Morten Mandsberg, who took over the car business in 2010.

However, there will still be a little car-related at Rundinsvej 63, where the filter company Landson is moving in. Among other things, filters are manufactured here for diesel corvettes.

The now former car dealership in Helsinge is not the only place where people have had and are having a hard time in the Danish car industry.

Times are also difficult for the importers. Several have chosen to fire all dealers. Some do not even know how many will be re-employed. Read more about it here .
