Nikolaj has bought 30 Fisker Ocean after the car brand's bankruptcy

When Fisker Inc.'s Swedish subsidiary went bankrupt earlier this month, there were 30 stock cars left. Now the car dealer Nikolaj Kascelan has bought them all.

The Swedish car dealer BraBilar in Enköping has bought the 30 stock cars that were left out of Fisker's Swedish bankruptcy estate.

The car dealer and co-owner Nikolaj Kascelan confirms this in a press release and on Facebook .

– I felt a passion for Fisker already at the first test drive, we dare to stand up for a fantastic car, but it is clear that it is a willingness to take risks, it says.

Now Nikolaj Kascelan hopes that he can find around 30 people who will throw money at the cars he himself has just bought. But he admits that it all comes with a risk.

In the United States, Fisker has entered into an agreement with an American leasing company that will lease the cars to ride-hailing services such as Uber in New York.

The leasing company has said in connection with the purchase that they hope to be able to take over the software development in order to keep their own as well as other customers' Fisker Ocean alive. But nothing in that direction is in place yet. The issue of spare parts is also unresolved.

Back in Sweden, it is a car dealer with faith in the brand that has thrown the money at cars that will most likely never be built again.

– There are many who have not believed in Fisker.

– But we dare to go against the grain and support Fisker Ocean. Because I think it's a great car. From the first time I saw the car, I felt a passion and love for Fisker Ocean.

– It is a car that has many qualities. But it is obviously associated with a risk, says Nikolaj Kascelan.

In the USA, where the parent company Fisker Inc. has filed for bankruptcy protection, the creditors are currently fighting over who will receive payment for the cars that the company has sold almost unbelievably cheap. Read more about it here .

The car factory Magna Steyr alone, which has built Fisker's cars in Austria, believes it has a staggering amount of money to its credit because Fisker has not paid to have the cars built.

In total, creditors believe they have over DKK 8 billion owed to the car brand. Henrik Fisker will only recognize a fraction of the debt.
