Tesla introduces new concept: Self-service Test Drive

If you want to test drive a Tesla, it's now even easier. A completely new concept is being launched in several places in Denmark.

Tesla has announced the launch of a new test drive concept called Self-Drive test drive, which will be available at several locations around Denmark.

Since Tesla's founding approximately 20 years ago, the integration of technology has been a factor in their model range. In addition to enjoying continuous over-the-air software updates that add new features to the cars, owners can also benefit from Tesla's remote analysis and repair via Tesla Service, offering a fast service experience.

With the launch of the Tesla Self-Served Test Drive, the company is taking a new step to make test drives even more accessible.

This concept allows customers to test drive the cars in an easy and efficient way, while they run other errands.

The test drive experience will be completely digital, where the customer is guided through the entire process, and the cars can be opened and started remotely using Tesla's mobile app. The new trial crossing hub will be launched in Glostrup (Sjælland) and Sonderborg (Jutland) and will later be expanded to more cities in the course of the year.

Tesla's new self-service test drive hub is located at Elgiganten in Glostrup and Sonderborg and will open for the first test drives on 15 May. The customer can book a test ride either online on Tesla's website or by scanning a QR code on the car.

Before the test drive, the customer gets access to instructional videos, and the car's touchscreen provides a simple and intuitive experience.

In 2023, Model Y and Model 3 achieved first and second place as the best-selling car models in Denmark, confirming Tesla's position as the largest car brand in the country.

These results underline the cars' popularity in the market and their ability to meet the needs of consumers looking for durable, comfortable, efficient, safe and fun cars.

To book a trial carousel with Tesla's self-service technology, customers can visit the website: www.tesla.com/da_dk/drive .
