Danish car company goes bankrupt with huge debts of millions

The leasing company probably does not agree with the debt item. But that does not change the fact that there is a claim for millions behind the bankruptcy petition.

The bankruptcy court in Sonderborg has declared the leasing company Leasing Partner ApS bankrupt. This happens after the Swedish Tax Agency has lodged a huge million-dollar claim against the company.

The claim from the Tax Agency was already submitted on 2 February. All against the company which was founded in 2007 and since then from an address in Aabenraa has made a living by 'advising both private and business people in buying, evaluating cars, financing and leasing'.

But it's over now. That's what JydskeVestkysten writes.

According to the newspaper, the public authorities, via the Tax Agency, have made a claim of no less than DKK 40 million against the company.

However, it is a requirement that the leasing company does not agree with. Therefore, a legal tug-of-war will most likely have to take place over the company's fate in the end.

It is far from the first company in the Danish car industry to turn its goals around this year. Less than a month ago, a mysterious Danish car company also went bankrupt with a debt of millions. Read more about it here .

However, closures can also be completely voluntary. If, for example, it was the case for a car dealer who, after being fired from 'his' car brand, has now sold the entire shop to a Danish-Chinese company. The now former owners call the decision 'timely due diligence'.
