20-year-old gets half a million DKK in cash – mother also has problems

A 20-year-old driver is facing a total of $83,000 in fines for defying a judge's ban. Now the driver's mother is also in trouble.

The 20-year-old Miles Hudson faces a total fine of 83,000 dollars, equivalent to 583,000 kroner. His mother is also in trouble.

All because the young driver has blown a ban on driving around in the Dodge Charger Hellcat. A car that his mother – at least on paper – is the owner of.

Miles Hudson was banned from driving the car back in April, because he has used it several times to drive himself crazy in traffic. Read more about it here .

And because the young man has repeatedly defied the ban, the legal system has lost patience with him and his mother.

According to the media, the mother has promised the prosecution in writing that 'she' will have the car brought into legal condition and prevent her son from sitting behind the wheel.

According to the prosecution, a number of new videos show that Miles Hudson still has access to the car and that he is still behind the wheel.

So now the city government in Seattle wants his mother to pay at least 1,300 dollars equivalent to 8,900 kroner in parking fees for each and every day the car has not been in legal condition. The issue will be taken up by the court system later this month.
