17-year-old hid the license plate but was exposed by a stupid mistake

A 17-year-old boy tried to run away from the police in April last year – he might have succeeded had it not been for a company logo.

Back in April last year, a 17-year-old boy almost managed to run away from the police. Had it not been for a company logo, it might have gone differently.

This is what the Central and West Zealand Police say in a Facebook post .

Here, the police circle tells how several patrols helped chase the 17-year-old around Tollose near Holbæk.

In the first instance because the 17-year-old was driving around with a covered license plate on what the police thought was a moped. However, it later turned out to be a small motorcycle.

Along the way, the police believe that the 17-year-old drove so madly that, among other things, he forced a patrol car to swerve left around an embankment and brake hard for an oncoming traffic.

Along the way, the 17-year-old actually managed to escape. But because an officer had filmed part of the chase for the young man, the police could subsequently decipher a company logo on the 17-year-old's clothes.

This prompted the police to search the company address, where they found both the 17-year-old and the 'thug'. At the beginning of February this year, the case reached a decision in court.

Here, the 17-year-old turned his denial into a confession. And then other firewood fell down. The fine is DKK 12,000, the moped is confiscated and a 40-day suspended sentence hangs over the teenager's head.

In addition, he has had his car registration card suspended for six months. Which means that he may not take a choir card until six months after he turns 18 at the earliest.
